A little slice of our early morning today. He zones out watching PBS Kids (great mom, huh?) until it's time to eat and get ready for school.
Today I decided to underexpose a bit and showcase the darkness and shadows. A little different, but I like it. Might as well use our dark, dreary days to my creative advantage, right? Perhaps I've found a style I like.

Ooo, I love dark pictures.
love the high constrasty photos. I let my kids zone out too in front of the tv. :)
Lovely! I won't even tell you how much tv time mine gets. ;) As long as it's educational in some way right?!
i love the darkness and shadows in these images. they just come alive - so expressive!
Love that 2nd one. Seeing him in photo #3 is funny b/c that's exactly what my younger 2 kiddos do - suck their thumbs and run their fingers along the satin edge of their loveys simultaneously. So cute. :) (And I'm secretly glad to see that I don't have the only 5 yr old that still does these things.... ;0 )
love how you exposed for these. i think high contrast photos like these look so awesome in black and white. good for you for stepping outside of your box.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the low light pics! My faves for SURE. And really with those GORGEOUS big brown eyes???!! Stunning.
