too many books, not enough time.
...too many books and not enough time.
My current read, The Book Thief.

Ah....yes. I started the Book Thief a few weeks ago but life got the best of me and I had to return it to the library before I finished because someone else had it on hold (how dare someone else want to read it!). That's why I really like to buy books because then I can take my time, but who has the money for all those books? And whenever I DO buy a book I read it in like two days. Figures.

I see a few here in your pile that I have read and have loved. The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns?? Loved. And have you read Blue Like Jazz yet? You must. I want to talk about it with someone who has read it. I am currently reading 1000 Gifts and it is changing me.

Happy Reading!!

You are so so right. I have requested a million books at the library and had to return them because I didn't have time :( like the forgotten garden.... But Molokai was very good as was a thousand splendid suns! You've got a good pile there! I'm also reading the book thief right now!!! I hope I finish......

I started Blue Like Jazz years ago but never finished. I need to get that and finish it.

Good luck on that giant pile. Wow!

i always love photos of books like this... and i always think, i want to take one like it. but then i tell myself that i'd just feel like a poser if i did, 'cause everyone knows, i am NOT a book reader. i rarely finish a book, if i can even manage to start one.

love this. can't say i have read any of these... 'cause... well, you know...
=)

oooh, loved Book Thief. Enjoyed Forgotten Garden (think: beach read). And I've had Moloka'i on my "to-read" list for a long time... Just finished Cutting for Stone and really like it. Currently reading Wuthering Heights. Not sure yet what I think of it yet. Happy reading to you!!

I love the photo! I'm like Georgia, not big on reading books. I could count the number of books I've read for the fun of it on both hands. And four of them were the Twilight Series! *she says as she lowers her head and her cheeks turn red* ;)

I'd love to be mellow enough to sit down and read. Don't know if it's my kids, my constant stream of to-do's, or the fact that I don't sit still very well, but I haven't sat down for awhile and just read a book in years.

This is fabulous, Andrea! And I know the feeling....too many books, too little time. Nicely done!

Book Thief was excellent. Blue Like Jazz...read next. So great. I can't keep book piles. Too overwhelming. I have to do one at a time from the library or borrow. :)

I love book piles and I photos like this that make me fantasize of being an avid reader, which I'm not. Haven't had time to read in years.

Would love too again soon.
